Research projects

We carry out development projects in cooperation with the universities of Chemnitz and Dresden and the Fraunhofer Institute in the areas of manufacturing and processing innovative materials. The project "Innovative dental grinder with guide mandrel" was successfully completed in 1998. The joint project "Dry grinding of GRP material" funded by the AiF was successfully realized in 2011.

Tool development process

Period 01.06.2019 to 31.01.2022

The aim of the joint research project is to develop a method for an automated tool machining process for master and forming tools in the tool development process. As a sub-project, we have set ourselves the goal of developing geometrically flexible grinding tools based on additive base bodies with a super abrasive abrasive grain coating.
